Welcome to MOVĀ Studio

  • MOVĀ Studio is a 1300 sq ft minimal, modern loft-style space designed for versatility and creative freedom.

    The studio features a white cyclorama wall, two rolling walls, and a low rolling table to create depth and dynamic compositions tailored to your style. A curated mix of furniture allows you to shift the mood seamlessly — from modern New York–inspired black pieces to bright, airy neutrals.

    Along the windows, custom luxury curtains diffuse natural light or double as an elegant backdrop. Additional features include a rolling mirror that can be placed anywhere in the space, and a dedicated makeup station with two stools and a conveniently located outlet — ideal for wedding-day prep or branding shoots.

    Current furnishings include two couches, four unique chairs, and a metal stool.
    More additions are coming soon, including neutral backdrops, statement furniture pieces, and a director’s chair.

  • MOVĀ Studio was created by Sandra and Christina, two creatives who were constantly searching for minimal, modern, and versatile studio spaces for their clients. Time and time again, achieving this aesthetic meant driving into the GTA — a beautiful option, but not always a practical one.

    MOVĀ was born from the desire to bring the elevated, luxury studio experience of Toronto closer to home. Designed by creatives, for creatives, the space reflects a shared vision of simplicity, intention, and adaptability — a studio that supports your work rather than competing with it.

  • MOVĀ Studio is conveniently located just five minutes off the 401 on Queen Street West in Cambridge, offering easy access and ample parking. The studio is situated on the second floor, with elevators planned for Fall 2026.

    Down the hall, you’ll find six private bathroom stalls for added convenience. Surrounding the building are several outdoor shooting locations — including natural and urban backdrops — available for use to expand your creative options beyond the studio walls.

Use our space as your morning of the wedding getting ready space, a rain back-up plan, or as your Portrait location. Not only do you have access to the studio, but you can utilize the building outside and the fields & water out back. We also have a space for your Makeup Artist and Hair Dresser, a changing area, a desk for all your items, and a 6 private bathrooms down the hall.
